LED Display

The Atlas has an innovative row of 7 RGB LEDs that can be used to display key sailing/racing data, provide alerts, and also inform on RaceSense status. The following functions are available in the current firmware, and more are being developed:

● Start Timer ● Distance to Line (DTL) ● Time To Burn (TTB) ● Heel Angle (HA) ● Shift Tracking ● None (off)

These are set as part of the Custom UI Layout configuration in the Connect app. The brightness of the LEDs can be adjusted from the LED menu (Display and Sound β†’ LED).

To customize the LED’s and which widget they are associated with go into your desired boat profile β†’ Devices β†’ Display Layout β†’ Choose the screen you want the LED’s customized on β†’ Press the grey settings wheel on the top right β†’ Configure LED’s.

Here is what it looks like in Connect:

You can see there are currently 6 LED options. This will grow over time, and can also depend on what sensors are connected to the Atlas 2. The list is different for non-start pages, as the starting related LEDs can only appear on start pages. Once you select an option, you get a description, an animated demo, and any specific options that are available. On the Heel Angle (HA) option, you can set the min and max heel extent, allowing you to tailor this to your exact needs.

Once saved, each page can have its own LED settings. The one we just configured looks like this in action:
